Digital Value to Achieve Financial Freedom

Here’s a secret that, apparently, few people know: digital = magical.
In other words, if I sell to someone an ebook (in PDF format), I still have the “original” copy while the client gets his own copy. Of course, I have a new $20 bill in my pocket (assuming that is the price of the ebook — usually, $18 is the best price for an ebook).
So if I sell my ebook to 10,000 people, then I get revenues of $200,000.
I make that kind of money WITHOUT ever going to the office or working for a boss.
This is why I say that “digital = magical.”
On the other hand, “personal = stress.”
This means that if you have to show up at the office to PERSONALLY perform some kind of work as per a job description, then stress is the inevitable result. It’s inevitable because it is your boss’ priority to give you more and more work and responsibilities while giving you fewer and fewer corporate resources. This is not because your boss is evil, but because that’s what shareholders want: an increasingly higher return on their capital.
In short, it means that unless you switch your thinking from “personal” to “digital”, you cannot experience financial freedom. You cannot, ever, be free of work. You will have to work till age 65. In fact, a pension is not even guaranteed these days, and the proof is that many people over 65 still have to work in order to cover their expenses.
The good news is that with the Internet, you don’t have to create an ebook worth $20. It can be worth $5.
If you sell that ebook to 10,000 people, then that’s revenues$50,000. How much of it is taxable depends on the fiscal jurisdiction you choose as a sovereign individual.
Keep in mind that this $5 ebook is just the beginning of your publishing career. Most likely, you will be able to write MORE ebooks and price them higher, such as $10 or even $30.
The important thing is to START RIGHT NOW.
Start to think of creating digital value that you can sell worldwide.
